Hiya friends, here is a sneak peak of PAUSE – a memoir of a young woman, who’s a traumatic brain injury survivor and in 2016 she took a leap to find herself and purpose, declaring that 2016 was her year to shine… I am getting so excited to be graced by Pause presence, I can hardly contain myself. EEEKKK.
“You get comfortable with being uncomfortable when your life is altered. I wanted to be Molly Cain. The girl who was capable of anything, little did I know I already was Molly Cain. I just needed to believe in myself, while having faith in the fact that the accident changed my life for a bigger purpose and better reason.
After going to extreme measures of healing and busting my booty to become stronger, I was able to return to Colorado 9 months after the accident on January 14, 2013 – my mom’s birthday. I knew that I was not ready to return to Colorado yet, but I also knew if I let that stand in my way, I would never be ready.
I read this quote by Marissa Mayer, “I always did something I was a little not ready to do. I think that’s how you grow.” Marissa Mayer, amen sister! This is totally it. If we wait for something to change, instead of taking the leap and creating the change ourselves, we will not ever fully understand who we are or what we are capable of. Friends, the world is our playground. Explore. Create. Do NOT be afraid to be you. Live with purpose. Be different!” – Molly Cain
