Meet Our Founder: Molly Cain

Molly Cain, the driving force behind SMILE #UWokeUp, knows firsthand the challenges of living with a TBI. Following a life-altering accident in 2012, Molly faced adversity with resilience and determination. From overcoming a coma to pushing through temporary paralysis, Molly’s journey is a testament to the power of the human spirit. Today, she inspires others to embrace life’s challenges with a smile and to find strength through movement..

“Every day, I choose to give thanks by embracing gratitude in both big and small wins. I start by acknowledging the simple joys and blessings in my life, whether it’s a beautiful sunrise, a kind gesture from a friend, or a moment of peace and reflection. Ultimately, I believe that gratitude is a mindset and a practice that enriches my life and strengthens my connections with others, allowing me to fully embrace the gift of each day.”
