Supporting TBI Survivors on Their Journey to Recovery
At SMILE #UWokeUp, we are dedicated to supporting traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivors on their journey to recovery. Our foundation is led by TBI survivors who understand the challenges and triumphs that come with this journey.
What We Offer:
- Support Group Meetings: Trauma Support Network leads meetings via online, currently, with hopes to migrate to in-person in Northern Colorado.
- Movement and Rehabilitation Programs:
- Shoe Application Program: In partnership with local running stores, specialized shoe fittings for TBI survivors are provided to address balance and stability. Apply now and take your first step towards mobility.
- Crafts and Hand Dexterity Classes: Partnering with Artisan You in Loveland, Colorado, we offer quarterly classes focusing on hand dexterity fundamentals, utilizing color as a healing therapy.
- Aqua Therapy Program: We partner with athletic facilities; RAC was the most recent to offer aqua therapy sessions to help rebuild extremities and muscle memory. Discover the healing power of water resistance.
