Tomorrow, SMILE #UWokeUp, Molly Cain, will be competing in Chilly Cheeks duathlon series at Cherry Creek state park. Raising awareness of traumatic brain injuries in our communities, while showing others that it is possible to overcome personal challenges and battles. Molly’s mother always says that she would like to wrap her in bubble-wrap. However, she knows that she has to let Moll find the “new me,” on the journey that we call life – living with a TBI.
Molly decided yesterday that she was going to compete in Racing Underground duathlon on Saturday – two days. “I am ready as I’ll ever be. I train daily and I am always up for an experience. Bring it on.” Friends, be true to you and do things that bring you happiness. Molly is on a mission to raise awareness of traumatic brain injuries. Competing in races is the way that she likes to get our name out, while raising awareness of TBI’s. Probably because almost 5 years ago, Molly was paralyzed and in a coma and was not able to walk. Now she has the opportunity to show others that you can overcome any obstacles but it is going to take hard work and a great attitude.
Cheer Molly on from wherever you are on her Duathlon tomorrow. SMILE #UWokeUp
